The Hartford Botanical Garden Project (HBGP) has joined with the City and State to re-open the Dep't. of Agriculture's CT Creative Store at 25 Stonington Street, Hartford. The store sells CT made products--honey, jam, sauces, wool, hand-crafted bowls, dolls, and more. The store promotes CT farmers and artisans. In addition, all net proceeds from the store go to support the effort to build the Hartford Botanical Garden, a proposed 18-acre garden to be sited in Colt Park. Store hours: Monday through Friday 10AM to 2PM. Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas, also 10AM to 2PM. Closed Thanksgiving.
